Planix 7 Digital Roller Planimeter

Electronic planimeters are excellent tools to use when you measure irregular shaped areas on plans or drawings. They eliminate the need for grids, charts, or calculations done by hand. The Planix 7 offers all of the features of the Model 6, plus display of areas directly in terms of cm squared, m squared, in squared, ft squared, or acres, plus provision for input of different X and Y scale factors. These expanded features can greatly simplify many measurement operations.
Just enter scale from your plan or drawing, and start rolling to get the measurement of an irregular shaped area. With the Planix 7, different X and Y scales can be entered. The Planix 7 accurately measures large areas with a range of 118" x 11.8" (300cm x 30cm). If your area is larger, we recommend splitting your area into multiple parts and measuring each part, then adding the results together.
