A rugged, field carrying case houses all the necessary components to measure six key pollutants in air. Each individual test module contains all the necessary labware and reagents for 25 tests. The complete outfit also includes the Portable Air Sampling Pump in its own carrying case (see description below), three types of impingers, and a detailed instruction manual.
Air Monitoring
A Practical Approach to Air Pollution Detection
1. SAMPLE: A portable vacuum pump draws precise volumes of air through an absorbing solution in a special bubbling tube (impinger).
2. TEST: The absorbing solution, chemically-selective for the pollutant being tested, is then treated with LaMotte reagents.
3. RESULTS: The resulting color reaction is measured in an Octet Comparator for results in parts per million.
