Environmental Education - The Water Quality Educator

Teach your students and volunteer monitors all about Natural Water Quality Monitoring. Water quality is monitored by testing for a variety of factors in three broad categories:
1. Chemical (Dissolved oxygen, nitrate, pH, phosphate, alkalinity)
2. Biological (Aquatic Macroinvertebrates as living indicators of water quality)
3. Microbiological (E. coli, total coliforms, fecal coliforms, Enterococcus)
This distinctive reference will guide you through the decisions that are made prior to testing to the analysis of the final results. Determine why you want to monitor. Select the site(s).
