Individual Test Kits For Education and Outdoor Monitoring - Algae

These kits are part of an ongoing effort by the LaMotte Company Research and Development team to produce new test methods and kits that are faster, easier-to-use, and reduce or eliminate the use of hazardous materials.
Note: These are not to be used with the SMART2 Colorimeter or the SMART Spectrophotometer.

Algae: A water sample suspected of containing algae is filtered and the collected material is reacted with methyl alcohol to extract chlorophyll and indicate the presence of algae.
